Tadcaster Albion U11's (who are currently top of their division) played their first League Cup game of the season at Copmanthorpe today. It was a patchy and slightly inconsistent performance but there are distinct signs that players are starting to consider and implement the ideas and stratagems discussed by the coaches.........Mick reckons we should hit our peak performance in about December 2024(!) - Still, a good win with goals from Josh Jackson, Harry Hardy (penalty), Matty Orr, Joel Brown and 2 from 'Mr Dynamite' himself - Joe Simon. A couple of players exhibited an extra bit of effort and tenacity which we hope to see every week and certainly helped swing the game in our favour. A well deserved Man of The Match award went to Paul Hick. This week's picture shows JM 'mixin' it up' with the Copmanthorpe defenders......
